Toxic Toys
Health Canada does not require that toys carry labels indicating warnings for choking hazards, or other valuable information. These kinds of labels are only “strongly encouraged.”
Another notable fact provided by Health Canada is that any tests on the safety of toys “is the responsibility of manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers to ensure compliance of a toy product with Canadian toy safety legislation.”

Toxic Pet Toys
I have a pet health blog that I write my own articles relating to pet health and you may want to check your pet's toys due to the toxins that may cause disease and illness in your pet, either a cat or dog.
There are some interesting findings in toys coming into Canada and the United States.

I continue to call for toxins to be eliminated out of the pet food supply and accessories.
