Take Action Now: Pesticide Ban in Nova Scotia

As we've talked about in previous blogs, the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) is working hard to get a ban on lawn pesticides in Nova Scotia. CAPE was one of the groups that helped get a law to ban lawn pesticides in Ontario last year.

Please email the Nova Scotia government today! Let them know you support a ban on lawn pesticides to protect our children's health.

Your message can be simple:

I support Nova Scotia's proposed ban on the sale and use of non-essential pesticides.

Email it directly to: policy@gov.ns.ca

The deadline is Sunday, March 7, 2010.

It doesn't matter if you don't live in Nova Scotia. All of us benefit when pesticides are banned. And every e-mail brings the ban closer to reality.
